The University of New Mexico (UNM) invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President of Human Resources. Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Administration, the Vice President provides strategic leadership in all facets of human resources management as it pertains to non-faculty staff in all components of the University and its branches.

The Vice President of Human Resources directs the component activities of the Universitys Human Resources Department, ensuring that all HR programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the institution. The holder of the position directly participates in institutional planning and decision making as a member of the Universitys Executive Cabinet, and provides broad administrative leadership and coordination to the University Administration Division as designated by the Executive Vice President for Administration.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; or Masters degree in a related field and 5 years of executive level management experience.
