SCAD seeks qualified applicants for the
position of faculty recruiter. The person in this
position is responsible for recruiting and interviewing
candidates for open faculty positions at the university.
The faculty recruiter is responsible for researching,
identifying and sourcing faculty candidates, prescreening
candidates, facilitating interviews, and participating in
the evaluation of candidates. He or she will work
collaboratively with the chair and dean to finalize
hiring decisions. A bachelor's degree is required with
experience in recruiting and interviewing for
professional-level positions is required. Excellent communication
skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask
are necessary. Experience in human resources and
executive search is preferred with a knowledge of art and
design fields and/or executive search in these fields and
experience recruiting in higher education or in niche
