Harris is seeking Human
Resources Generalists to join our team in the following
locations:
Quincy, IL
Melbourne/Palm Bay, FL
Pottstown, PA
Rochester, New York
Falls Church, VA
Herndon, VA
Job Description:
The successful
candidate will work as a trusted business
partner, providing broad human resources support,
in an innovative and solutions-oriented manner,
to a growing high technology, communications
and/or government services business. The
individual will be responsible for providing
guidance and counsel to all levels of the
organization. This includes, but not limited to:
- Coaching leadership
on implementing programs to promote employee
engagement and positive employee relations.
- Leading projects and
initiatives within and outside the Human
Resources function, in a multi-site,
international company.
- Day-to-day HR
generalist responsibilities in the areas of
talent management, to include: performance
management, compensation administration, employee
relations, measures/reporting, recruitment
liaison, etc.
Qualifications:
- Requires 5-7+ years
experience of increasing responsibility in Human
Resources, preferably in a fast-pace high tech
environment. International experience/global
knowledge preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in
Human Resources, Business Management, or
equivalent years experience required. MBA or MS
in Human Resources preferred.
- PHR/SPHR or related
certification preferred.
- Must have
demonstrated expertise in all Human Resources
functions (talent management, compensation,
employee relations, employment law, performance
management, employee development, etc.) with a
focus on retaining & developing talent as
well as OD & OE activities. Mergers and
acquisition experience a plus.
- Demonstrated
competencies in the following areas: change
management, business & competitive market
knowledge, strategic agility, results
orientation, coaching/consultation skills, team
facilitation and project management.
- Must possess
excellent communication skills, ability to
influence, effective interpersonal skills, strong
judgment, bias for action, solutions-oriented,
solid analytical skills, and the ability to
successfully operate in a matrix environment.
High level of ethics and integrity required.
- Established track
record of working in a dynamic, fast-paced
environment, successfully partnering with leaders
to incorporate Human Resource principles to solve
business challenges.
- Demonstrated
proficiency with HRIS and other business tools to
positively impact the business.
- Certain positions
require the ability to travel at least 25% of the
time. Ability to relocate for career
broadening/advancing opportunities preferred.
